WRIST, ELBOW AND SHOULDER SURGEONS OF CONNECTICUT ORTHOPAEDICS SPECIALISTS
At COS, we are committed to providing exceptional quality, comprehensive and compassionate care for patients with conditions affecting the wrist, elbow and shoulder. As the largest independently owned provider of bone and joint healthcare in Connecticut, we’re able to deliver an unparalleled array of treatment options with a focus on eliminating pain and enhancing each patient’s lifestyle.
We completely understand how problems with the upper extremities can negatively impact everything you do. The bones, nerves, joints, and muscles of the wrist, forearm, elbow, and shoulder are critical to nearly every activity of daily living. Working as a team we will provide you with an accurate diagnosis and customized treatment plan to get you back to pain-free living as quickly and carefully as possible.
Our experienced and highly skilled orthopaedic shoulder surgeons use the latest in minimally invasive and conventional surgical procedures along with non-surgical treatments, in order to provide the best outcomes. Several physicians on our team have been fellowship-trained specifically in the areas of wrist, elbow and shoulder care. They have many years of experience dealing with both chronic conditions and injuries to these regions of the body.
These specialists work closely with our in-house physiatrists, pain management experts, physical therapists and occupational therapists who guide you through diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. We have a full array of diagnostic equipment to ease you through the process, including X-Rays in virtually every office and two MRI suites with convenient weeknight and weekend hours. We also have our own Connecticut Surgical Center in Branford and 12 in-house physical/occupational therapy centers located in communities along the Route 95 and Route 91 corridors.
We are consistently focused on:
- Relieving chronic and intermittent pain
- Employing non-surgical treatments whenever possible
- Using arthroscopic procedures to both diagnose and correct problems at the same time
